Recently a reader on here commented about her knitting project this summer. And she reminded me that I’ve been meaning to post a blog on some of my recent knitting projects.
I knit every day. It’s in my DNA. My mom and my aunt did the same thing. If I’m not working on my novel or have other plans, I knit for a couple hours every afternoon while watching the Midsomer Murders series on Brit Box. And I always knit in the evening for a couple hours.
I finished the Half of my Heart Cowl by Noemi Zimmer. This will be a birthday gift for my daughter in October. I still have to block it.

And this lovely shawlette is called Ghost Gardens by Kelene Kinnersly Designs. This one is for me. I love the picot edging. And being off white, it’ll go with anything.

And this one is my current project. It’s called Eaze Shoulder Capelette by Lora Marin. I have about another inch to go on the ribbing and it’ll be finished. I also plan to keep this one. The yarn is la Bien Aimee from Paris and the color is Bois de Rose. Unfortunately, the photo doesn’t do the gorgeous color justice.

So what’s my next project, you ask? Because if you know me, then you know I always have something on my needles!
Well, to be honest, in all my years of knitting I’ve never made Christmas stockings! I think the main reason is because my mom made them years ago for me, Ray and our three children. And I just never thought to make some of my own. But I feel I’d really like to now. So I’m going to be starting a Christmas stocking for Julien with his name on it and then I’ll make one for Roisin, his wife. This will be their first Christmas married and I think it will be a nice keepsake. I’ll keep you posted on my progress.
And what’s on your needles? Leave a comment and let me know what you’ve been up to with your knitting.
See you here next time……………….

Beautiful knitting. Stockings would be a wonderful keepsake for them. I am currently reading Postcards from Cedar Key. I will make the scarf that is in the book. 😀 Have a wonderful day!!
Thank you. And thank you for reading my book. I’d love to see the scarf when you finish it. Happy knitting!
