I hope everyone had a nice holiday weekend. I spent yesterday getting some more writing done on my current novel, Payback is Murder.
I now have over 11,000 words and almost 50 pages. So Luella is moving along. And I’m pleased.
Professor Volbrecht is about to meet his maker. I’ll give you a few teasers……he’s not a bad guy, just a bit haughty. And he isn’t liked by everyone in Salem. So Luella will have a fair number of suspects to consider when she dives into her sleuthing skills. Especially when Elliott, her favorite neighbor who is like a son to her, becomes a top suspect.
Luella will have a lot on her plate in book 2. There’s a wedding on the horizon for her goddaughter, Lexi. She’s busy working at Full Circle, the shop she owns with Naomi and Margo. Writing for Discover Salem magazine fills her time doing interviews and articles. And could there be a new romantic interest coming her way?
I’m afraid you’ll have to wait until later this year when I’ve finished the book to find out. But hopefully, I’ve whet your appetite.
