Where Did May Go?

I can hardly believe that June 1 is two weeks from Saturday! Wasn’t it mid-April yesterday?

I know I’ve had a very busy year but at this rate I’ll wake up tomorrow morning and be celebrating my 100th birthday! That’s how quickly time sometimes seems to be rushing along.

Am I alone in thinking this?

So before it’s entirely gone, I wanted to wish you a nice Memorial Day weekend. Any plans for you?

Bill and I will be having a quiet one. The weather is going to be extremely hot….mid 90’s from what the weather man is saying. Much too hot for only May! So the air conditioned house is where you’ll find us.

And since we leave four weeks from Monday for England and Julien’s wedding, I plan to be doing a lot of pre-trip prepping. Clothes, itineraries for flights and hotels, getting together those little things that can be set aside now so that I don’t forget them, etc. If you’ve gathered that I’m a fanatic with organizing, you would be correct. (Ask my best friend, Alice. She’s traveled with me before or Bill when we went to Paris this past December) At any rate, I always figure IF I forget something, it’s my own fault! Needless to say, I have a pile of notes to keep me straight. (Wonder if that’s the writer in me)

I have a wonderful and experienced company now working with me for my website! Did you notice the fresh, more professional look to my home page? I certainly didn’t do that. They did! And they’ll be more updated features and additions to follow over time. But hopefully, the email situation is now corrected and all of you have received your update that I’ve posted this new content.

So thank you so much for subscribing, have a great weekend and I’ll see you next time here………

I agree with you that time is flying by! Just yesterday I remarked to my husband that every week when Monday comes we suddenly find ourselves arriving at the weekend way too soon! For me, it comes from being busy doing what I love which is genealogy.

    1. Glad to hear I’m not alone! And I do agree with you….all these things that keep me so busy? I also love doing them. Oh, I bet your genealogy is fascinating! I did a lot of that for my Polish side. I was all set to finally visit Poland in May 2020 and my grandmother’s village…and Covid hit! I was SO disappointed!

Yes, May has definately flown by! It already feels like July so looks like a long, hot summer. You sound super organized and I’m sure your trip will be wonderful!

    1. I’m afraid it’s going to be a brutal summer here! Not looking forward to it.
Here’s hoping all my organization pays off! LOL No matter what, I’m sure the trip will be great because of the wedding 👌😊

You will be prepared… that’s a good thing.

    1. That’s what I figure. If I forget something, it’s on me. But so far, I think I’m on track 😁

I resubscribed.ive been told I’m ocd with organization but it works for me.i keep all kinds of lists.

    1. I think there’s a lot to be said for organization. It keeps me from being disappointed because with my list, I always know I’m on top of things. 😊
