Hello March ~

Here it is March 1! I’ve always loved the month of March. It’s my birthday month. But I also love that spring is right around the corner. I’ve always felt it’s a month of new beginnings and renewal.

My first granddaughter was born in March…..the day before my birthday. And my first great-granddaughter is due on March 21. All the more reasons to love the month.

I’m flying to Richmond, VA on the 17th of the month. I’m not quite ready to share details about the trip but I’ll bring you up to date when I return.

I’ve been keeping busy working on a very special project for my coming great-granddaughter. As you know, I’ve knitted her quite a few items that I shared on here. But this project involves embroidery. And as it progresses, I’ll eventually share a photo. It’s something I’ve designed and created myself. Something I’ve never done before. I’ve always purchased embroidery patterns to work on. But I wanted this to be extra special and I had a vision what I wanted it to look like. So wish me luck it will turn out exactly as I hope.

Do any of you do embroidery or stitching work? I’ve always loved it since I was a child but I have to say, knitting has mostly been my first love.

So I wish you a good weekend and be sure to do whatever gives you joy. Because that’s what really counts.
